Heat and Weather Conditions
We always want to ensure your Chappellet wine arrives in great condition. Should the weather in your local area exceed 80F or fall below 40F, we recommend delaying your shipment. Should you decide to proceed with your shipment against our recommendation and your order does arrive with signs of heat damage, we are unable to replace your order.
Between June and September, we only ship Monday-Wednesday to ensure your wine does not sit in uncontrolled warehouse temperatures. You are also able to add gel ice packs to your order for additional protection.
We are happy to offer to ship your wine with FedEx Cold Chain between May and October. Please note, this shipping service does take 10-15 days (about 2 weeks) for delivery to all states.
We are happy to offer complimentary standard shipping for members of Chappellet’s club or allocations for any 6+ bottle order. For any other order or expedited shipping, please refer to the rates listed below.

Delivery Times and Special Instances

Viable Shipping Locations
We are able to ship to any residential or business address in any of our viable shipping states. To ensure your parcel is delivered upon the carrier’s first attempt, please consider shipping your order to a business address or UPS/FedEx location*. If your order is returned to Chappellet due to unsuccessful delivery and you would like us to reship your parcel, a shipping charge may be incurred.
*UPS or FedEx locations will only hold your order for up to 5 business days before returning to Chappellet
Will Call Orders
Members and customers are able to opt to pick up their orders at the winery in a timely matter. Should your orders remain at the winery for longer than four months, we will automatically ship your wines to you.
